Wolf Descendant Falls for Rival Heir: Plot Guide
A Wolf Descendant Falls for the Rival Heir is a StardustTV short drama that release trackers listed on 17 October 2026. Catalog sites including ShortAtlas, Find More Drama, RabbitDrama and DramaTrove share the same English synopsis: a designer with a secret werewolf gene infiltrates a rival company for revenge and falls for the heir she meant to destroy. This guide sticks to that synopsis and explains why the setup works for fans of both revenge and werewolf romance.

The plot setup
Evelyn Black is a designer who carries a secret werewolf gene and a family blood feud. She infiltrates the rival Valen Group to expose Hugo Valen’s crimes. The plan stays on track until she confronts the heir, Samuel. A fated genetic resonance awakens between them. From there her revenge mission tangles with forbidden love: truth, corporate power plays and cross-species passion collide under every full moon.
Find More Drama lists 9 episodes on StardustTV for this title. Our materials catalog mirrors the same drama with free preview clips.
Main characters named in the synopsis
- Evelyn Black – designer, secret wolf descendant, and the one who infiltrates Valen Group for revenge.
- Hugo Valen – the rival whose crimes Evelyn wants to expose.
- Samuel – the Valen heir. Genetic resonance with Evelyn turns the mission into a forbidden romance.
The synopsis does not name a wider cast, pack hierarchy or exact crime list, so we leave those to the episodes rather than guessing.
Highlights: what makes it stand out
1. Revenge first, romance second
Many werewolf shorts open on a mate bond and add conflict later. Here the driving force is a blood feud and a corporate infiltration. The romance arrives as a complication, which keeps the story closer to a revenge thriller than a pure sweet romance. If you prefer that tone, our best revenge short dramas list and revenge short dramas page collect similar moods.
2. Genetic resonance as the mate-bond twist
Instead of a classic “scent of my mate” line alone, the synopsis uses fated genetic resonance. It is still a destiny-bond device, but framed in corporate and scientific language that fits a modern office infiltration plot. Our glossary of werewolf short drama tropes covers how Alpha, Luna and mate language usually works across the genre, and the werewolf short dramas landing page links related titles.
3. Cross-species stakes under the full moon
The synopsis promises transformations and “cross-species passion” tied to the full moon. That gives the vertical format a recurring visual: every moon cycle can raise the danger of Evelyn’s secret being exposed inside Valen Group while her feelings for Samuel deepen.
4. A designer who is also a spy
Evelyn’s day job as a designer is a practical cover for getting inside a rival company. It also sets up class and workplace tension beside the supernatural one. Viewers who like dual-identity workplace stories will recognise the same pleasure found in hidden identity short dramas.
Who will enjoy it
- Fans of werewolf romance who still want a revenge spine.
- Viewers who like corporate infiltration and enemy-to-lover arcs.
- Anyone looking for a short StardustTV series (9 episodes) rather than a 40-episode binge.

How this fits the October 2026 werewolf wave
StardustTV listed several English wolf-adjacent titles around mid-October 2026, including this drama and The Blind Violinist Is the Wolf Queen. A Wolf Descendant Falls for the Rival Heir stands out because the synopsis keeps the corporate infiltration plot in the foreground. The werewolf gene is the tool and the complication, not the entire pitch. That makes it a good bridge title: romance fans get the fated bond, and revenge fans get a named target in Hugo Valen.

What the synopsis does not tell us
Honest gaps matter for SEO readers who dislike padded articles. The public description does not state episode-by-episode spoilers past the setup, does not list a full cast, and does not publish ratings or view counts we can verify. DramaTrove tags the title with family drama, mafia/kings romance, alpha/werewolf and hidden identity, which matches the synopsis but is still editorial tagging, not a score. We therefore keep claims limited to: 9 episodes, StardustTV, online date 17 October 2026, and the Evelyn / Hugo / Samuel triangle described above.
